Shrewsbury Town FC – Mike Harris Proposal

Mike Harris, UK Entrpreneur and owner of Welsh Champions TNSFC, has formally expressed his interest in acquiring Shrewsbury Town Football Club, delivering a direct and open proposal to the club’s current chairman, shareholders, and loyal supporters.
Amidst ongoing media speculation, Harris has outlined a £5 million offer to purchase 100% of the club’s shares, alongside a £4 million cash injection aimed at rebuilding the team and upgrading club infrastructure ahead of the new season.
His full open letter reads:
In light of recent media speculation, I am excited to formally express my intentions regarding the acquisition of Shrewsbury Town FC.
I am pleased to present the following offer for your consideration:
1 – I propose a cash payment of £5M to acquire 100% of the shares in the Club.
2 – My offer is based on the club being debt free and surplus cash being paid to the shareholders.
3 – I will also inject £4M into the Club to rebuild the team for the upcoming season and enhance the Club’s infrastructure.
4 – My offer is straightforward and unencumbered by conditions. It is a sincere proposal aimed at safeguarding the future of the Club, establishing a prudent business model, and ensuring fiscal responsibility, allowing the Club to thrive both on and off the field. Moreover, it aims to restore harmony after what has been a challenging season for the Club.
Please note that this offer will remain valid until May 1, 2025.
